How long does it take?
It differs from patient to patient depending on complexity and can range from 1 to even more than 4 weeks depending on the number and types of issues to be rehabilitated.
What precautions do I need to take after?
Please be gentle with the new prostheses when eating. We advise our patients with new veneers, crowns and bridges to have a nightguard as a protection. Good home care is needed as daily cleaning is essential. 6-monthly dental check-ups are necessary to ensure long-term health and longevity.
What materials are available for crowns and bridges?
The common materials used are zirconia (stronger), porcelain, porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) and gold.
Are there alternatives to dentures and bridges?
Dental implants retained crowns, bridges and overdentures are very good alternatives to these. You can read more here.
